

Pavel Tichomirov, was born in 1980 in Vologda and. Arrived in St. Petersburg in
2001 where he entered the ‘Herzen’ Russian state University of St Peterburg, Faculty of Fine Arts. There he studied sculpture from N.A. Karpova and in 2007 he got his first degree in “Portrait” of Sergei Dovlatov.
In 2007-2009 he studied at the master’s of Honored Artist of Russia Boris Sergeev. And received his first degree for “Monument Project Shalamov in Vologda” in 2009.
Since 2007 began to actively participate in exhibitions and competitions held in St. Petersburg.
In 2010 he participated in a symposium of stone in Finland.
As a sculptor I like to work in stone, feel its nature, a special plasticity. Most works are in the style of conventional realism.
One of his works – “Winter” is included in the Collection of Russian Museum in St-Petersburg.
