Lecture by Raoef Mamedov on Saturday February 1, at KRONA Museum in Uden
with reprise on Saturday February 8, at Galerie Lilja Zakirova.
The KRONA Museum (the renewed museum for religious art) in Uden is at this moment showing the worldfamous polyptich The Last Supper by Raoef Mamedov, after Leonardo’s composition, where filmic theatre, arthistory, theology and digital editing are brought together in a postmodern style. With the prominant presence of what Raoef calls ‘his first class actors’, people with Down’s syndrome, he achieves his main goals: thinking, feeling, loving and sympathy.
For this occasion the Russian cineast/artist will, after a foreword by the museum director Wouter Prins, present a lecture (with Dutch synchronous translation) about his work on Saturday February 1 at 14:30. (Address: Veghelsedijk 25, Uden)
